Welcome to our 2026-2027 season. Our thirty-fifth Year!
Once again we are offerng the Youth Summer Camp during the month of August for kids wanting to improve their pool skills, ages 7-17. There is no cost, just register. Instructors will present cue maintenance, pool basics and fundamentals 1 & 2. Camp will be at Topshots on Tuesdays in August from 6:30-8:30 pm - August 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th. Register by start date August 4th @ 6:30pm.
We are now taking registrations for the 2026-27 Season. Please register before September 13th, 2026.
Captains meeting on September 20th - 2pm @ Topshots, 1st night of play September 21st (Monday) and September 23rd (Wednesday). To Register for the 2026-27 Season click the link below:
The Unlimited Division will be offered on Tuesday only, Divisions #1, #2, and #3 will be offered on Monday and Wednesday. An approximate guide for a 5-player team would be: CSR rating (CompuSport):

The schedule is on the CompuSport site. There are a few changes for the upcoming season. Here is a list of the upcoming changes:
1) There will be no pre-divisionalization this year . Teams have been allocated to Divisions based on their CSR.
2) We will be using updated scoresheets , that were used during the tournaments last year.
3) The scoring system for the upcoming year will use the CSR player ratings in CompuSport. Teams must maintain a combined CSR rating of the 5 players in a match below the maximum cap for their division. This includes league play and tournament matches. The CSR maximum caps for divisions are:
8950 for Division 1,
8300 for Division 2 and
7900 for Division 3.
Team captains should monitor the overall strength of your team based on the CSR rating. The boundary may be adjusted to reflect the actual number of teams and comparative strength related to the CSR. An approximate guide for a 5-player team would be: CSR rating (CompuSport):
Tuesday Unlimited Div – rating range CSR above 8951,
Division #1 –rating range 8301-8950,
Division #2 - rating range 7901-8300, and
Division #3 - rating range CSR below 7900.
4) When calculating a new player with no CSR rating , it is calculated by using the division maximum cap divided by 5. Thus, new player CSRs per Division would be:
Unlimited Division = 9000/5 = 1800
Division 1 = 8950/5 = 1790
Division 2 = 8300/5 = 1660
Division 3 = 7900/5 = 1580
5) Any new player being added may only have a CSR which does not exceed the division maximum cap when added together with the top 4 players current CSRs on the team.
Example - Thus, if a Division #2 team with a maximum cap of 8300 Players starting with frozen capped CSR of: Fred – 1660, Bob – 1660, Sam – 1660, Bill – 1660, & Chris – 1660 So if during the season the team wants to add a player, but each players CSR increased 50, whereby their live CSR’s are now: Fred – 1710, Bob – 1710, Sam – 1710, Bill – 1710, & Chris – 1710 Then the highest available CSR a player added could have would be 1460. Please note players signed up at the start of the season will use their frozen CSR (September 22, 2026) for nightly play and tournaments. Singles tournament will use current CSR.
6) Captains will need to give notice if they are attending a tournament on the Wednesday prior to the tournament date. We will send a sign-up link to register for each tournament the week before.
7) We will no longer be accepting cash as a payment method. Captains are to e-transfer the teams dues no later than noon the following day (preferably the night of play). The e-mail question will be: What city do we play pool in? Answer: Edmonton . The e-mail for the transfer is: triple_e_pool_league@hotmail.com (don’t forget the underscores between the words).
8) Player registration is $20 per player for the year. Weekly dues are $100 per team. Teams that wish to pay all their yearly dues for the full season in advance can receive a discount as follows:
a) Pay in advance by October 15th and receive a $200 discount off dues. $2400 in dues owed.
b) Pay in advance by October 31st and receive a $100 discount off dues. $2500 in dues owed.
c) Note player registration is separate from the weekly dues cost.
9) For teams that desire to play in tournaments outside of our league we will be offering affiliation with the CCS (Canadian Cue Sports Association). There will still be Divisionalized play and monthly tournaments, but we will also be able to qualify for regional, national, and world championships as well. If your team decides to join the CCS membership, there is a yearly registration cost of $100 per 5 player team for the CCS membership. It is based on a team agreeing to sign-up. If your team does not want to be part of the CCS then you are not required to. The CCS has agreed to offer our league a few paid registration spots at the Westerns in Calgary, for the different league divisions. This is only for teams that are signed up.
10) We are using the CompuSport league management system of scoring. We will provide extra score sheets if teams would like to keep them for their own record. Scores must be entered and approved on the night of play.
11) Again, there will be 2 Singles tournaments this year (January and March). Both tournaments will be based on CRS ratings. The cut-off rating will be announced prior to the tournament.
12) We are hoping to offer a Youth League this winter. Our Summer Youth League was a success and gave us a start for something we wish to see expand. Again, we will follow up when the details are finalized.
13) CompuSport scoring system and App Help:
Please note that we are using the CompuSport scorekeeper system. Captains should be registered and entering their scores on the night of play.
We have attached a link to an introduction tutorial for all captains in this mailer. Captains should go to the app store and download the CompuSport app from Compusport.ca , signup, login to the CompuSport, look up Triple “E” Pool League 2026-27 Season, locate your team and assign a score keeper (there can be several). After you have completed these steps, you should be able to access your schedules and matches.
All matches must be filled out by the home team, who will complete the match, a copy is sent to the Visiting captain for approval and must be approved by 10am the following day at the latest. Stats will be updated as scoresheets are approved. If you are having concerns logging in, please contact Alex @ (780) 288-7665.

14) There are 26 weeks of play. Prize money is distributed to all teams. T-shirts will be given to all registrants. Don’t forget the Year-end tournament & Year-end Banquet. Trophies are distributed for division winners & 2nd place. There are also, cash awards & trophies for individual accomplishments.
